Wow, I can hardly believe a whole year has passed in what seems to be the blink of an eye, anyway, I am getting back into the saddle, I have committed myself to actually getting something done this year, so here’s to a successful 2009.

Things are finally coming together

OKay, so I have bought this ebook sometime ago called Licensed to Quit. (Link removed) I have been putting the recommendations into action so soon I will be able to quit my job, I know there is still much hard work to be done but I am ready for it.

Things I have done

I have built a basic webpage using Kompozer (free)
I bought a domain (website) name ($9)
I have engaged an hosting company($9 per month)

I still need to

Get my website in better shape
Add a paypal button
Add an auto responder
Plus get traffic to my site.

So that’s it for now, I will update as I go along.

I am not getting a lot done now, but I am still not giving up. I find myself getting totally distracted by the lastest hot deal that comes on the market. So here’s what I am going to do. I am going to put on some blinkers for the next week or so and consentrate on writing my ebook. I will let you know how it turns out.

Ericsson scam

During the last 2-3 weeks, I have recieved at least 6 emails about this same matter, so I decided to check it out. So here is the email I got and the results of my google search. My guess is that these emails addresses are being harvested and then sold and spammed.

Hi, everyone

The Ericsson Company is distributing free computer lap-tops in an attempt to match Nokia that has already done so. Ericsson hopes to increase its popularity this way.

For this reason, they are giving away the new WAP Laptops. All you need to qualify is to send this mail to 8 people you know.
Within 2 weeks, you will receive Ericcson T18. But if you can send it to 20 people or more, you will receive Ericsson R320.

Commentary:
The email message included above is a hoax.

Sony Ericsson will not give the recipient of this email message a free phone even if he or she does send it to 8 or more people. Those who send an email to the contact address included in the email will receive the following automated message from Sony Ericsson:

Dear sender,

This message / promotion is not a genuine Sony Ericsson promotion. We suspect that the people behind this hoax virus/email campaign hope to obtain and misuse the personal data of those who participate.

Please do not forward this promotion on.

Versions of this aging email hoax have been circulating for several years. The original incarnation targeted Nokia rather than Ericsson, but the content of the message was very similar to the example shown above.

After the Nokia hoax began circulating, someone launched the first Ericsson version (shown below) that claimed Ericsson wanted to “counter” Nokia’s offer by giving away free Ericsson phones.

Interestingly, both the Nokia and Ericsson adaptations of the hoax claim to be endorsed by one “Anna Swelund”, or variations such as “Anna Swelam” and Anna Swelan”.

As stated, there are several mutations of this hoax, all of them equally false. It would be highly unlikely that Ericsson, Nokia, or any other reputable company, would launch a promotional campaign based on how many times a particular message was sent onward. If you receive one of these email hoaxes, please inform the sender that the message is untrue and do not send it to others.

I am very much bombarded with the many offers that are coming at me. I have learn some valuable things though.

In order to succeed online, I need to have a website for myself.

I need to register a domain and subscribe to a hosting company.

My biggest challenge now is to build a website and get it online.

I am also working on a ebook, which I am rewriting from a Private Label Rights (PLR) I already have some instructions I am trying to follow.

So that’s all for you, Iwill update as soon as I have done some more.

This one is not as sophiticated as others I have seen but it still can decieve those who don’t know

Paid to read\ paid to click programs

There are so many paid to read/click (PTR, PTC) prgroms available these days. Much of them are scams that keep increasing their limit that makes it very difficult for persons to reach the cash out position. Some are just scams that do not pay at all. I will highlight a few PTR\PTC that I have used and tell you what my experience has been like.
